Executive Biography
Angela is a strategic Human Resources executive with more than 20 years of experience leading global talent strategy, organizational development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, culture transformation, learning and development, and AI-enabled HR operations. Throughout her career, she has partnered closely with diverse executive leadership teams to build high-performing organizations, strengthen workplace culture, and drive measurable business results through people-focused strategy.
Angela currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources at Payarc, where she is a member of the Executive Team responsible for leading enterprise-wide people strategy across talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, employment law compliance, and HR technology transformation. In her current role, she has led global hiring initiatives, implemented AI-driven HR systems, redesigned performance management processes, and developed strategic programs focused on strengthening organizational performance and employee retention.
Prior to Payarc, Angela spent over eleven years at Yale New Haven Health System at Greenwich Hospital, where she held progressively senior Human Resources leadership positions, ultimately serving as Senior Human Resources Business Partner. During her tenure, she led HR strategy supporting more than 1,200 employees and physicians, partnered with executive and legal teams on complex employee relations and compliance matters, represented the organization in state hearings, and played a leadership role in advancing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, employee wellness programs, and organization-wide culture development efforts.
Before joining Yale New Haven Health System, Angela served as Human Resources Associate Manager at Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages, where she partnered across finance, operations, supply chain, and executive leadership teams on talent management, succession planning, compensation strategy, employee relations, and large-scale workforce restructuring initiatives. During this time, she successfully led the buildout of a remote supply chain team and played a critical role in high-volume strategic hiring during a period of organizational transformation.
Earlier in her career, Angela worked as an Independent HR Advisor, consulting for organizations including SwissRe, Domino Sugar, and Honeywell, where she managed strategic recruiting initiatives, benefits administration, employee communications, and workforce planning initiatives across diverse organizational environments.
Angela began her career building foundational expertise across recruiting, employee engagement, talent development, benefits administration, immigration matters, and organizational support through Human Resources leadership roles at Diageo North America, FacilityPro, and Seventh Wave Technology.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Tennessee.
